Funny, I opened this vox account a couple of months ago but never really used it. The main reason would lie on my ichiban OHNO SATOSHI.

I never knew

That I would be repeating a news clip over and over again.. OMG! am I that obsessed? LOL...

.
Although I watched a ton of clips for last Friday, the main highlight for me was news Zero with Ohchan in it.....sugeeeeeeeeeeeee! he was able to pull it off and didn't show any discomfort (other than the bad posture at times)... but I liked how he interviewed Yara-san. He was so relaxed and seemed genuinely interested in the works of other artists. I got the feeling that Yara-san also warmed up to Ohno after seeing his freestyle exhibit.

I feel this was the day Ohno-san talked the most from morning till evening.XDDDDDDD and for that a toast!

LOL.....Just the thought is making me anticipate the topic he chose and how he's presenting it...... didn't he say he wanted to try to be in sho's position? And now he actually got his wish.... LOL....


Cross thy fingers...I'll bet he'll do good. It's just that I'm wondering what face he'll show the world. So far jun was kinda nervous and nino looked mischevious. LOL

Looking forward to what the fans of Japan think of this guy.......

Kyaaaaaaa!!! just read the summary of ohno's drama and now it has made me more excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... The reason he holds that knife..... that angry look....darn it.....I hope someone crosses fingers subs it just after it comes out.......

Know what?

I really liked the new single Clockwork Umbrella......it's just soothing (with their voices blending and all) for me BUT *and no offense to Sho fans* I just hated the rap part.... okay hated is probably a very strong word to use. However, that part destroyed the mood of the entire song .... Generally i'm okay with the it in their other songs but why oh why did the composer arrange it this way??!!!???????.... I could have strangled him when I heard the ending part from the 2 minute preview....


I want to hear the whole song.... i don't want it to be like Crazy Moon where I was seriously kind of disappointed.... I'm crossing my fingers on this one....Hope it becomes the next TRUTH... It seriously has potential.....

Journals and JOURNALS

Darn seems like it was a long time ago since I wrote something here..... RL has been eating up almost all of my time lately....I have to write a Journal as a pet project but my mind's blank so I decided to do this instead.


It soo nice to read the updates that my neighbors and non neighbors post every now and then......specially concerning Oh-chan activities which is like........? XD

Anyway, I've read a question in one of the blogs a few weeks back *sorry I forgot where* on why you still exist in this fandom and why in the world do you follow that idol? And since it is their 10th anniversary I've decided to put my feelings into words.

First, I stayed in this fandom because of the laughter and  great amusement they provide whenever I feel pressured, sad and/or bored. ARASHI as a whole cracks me up, that is, when they decide to play dorks. Plus as most fans noted they certainly know how to entertain us. For example, ANS and dashes of HnA not everything seems to be amusing on this show. However, I would not have stayed long if I had not known what they were saying.So arigatou to subbers and translators out there you've made ARASHI who they are today. Seriously, you guys are the reason why they are known in the net among the English speaking communities. 

Why do I follow him? Actually, the question should be why do I bother to read about him? What so special about this guy? the answer is quite simple: There are times when he captivates me.

Let's see.... he is certainly not like Matsujun who is the favorite hero in romance filled jdorama's , nor Nino who went to hollywood. neither is he like sho the 'newscaster', nor Aiba 'the variety show host'.....and he doesn't talk much lately....BUT when he does, the whole show seems to brighten up a little bit. See, he provides the best punch lines and has great timing when he decides to be funny. He also seems to be the manliest in most of his movements. I don't know but that is what i feel. I grew up around boys and he seems to have the 'manly aura among the five'. He sings great and dances like a dream. And when he acts, he makes me smile and sad with him. Give or take.

LOL.. I could go on but squeeeing over him would take a couple of pages. And besides, I think you know what I mean.

Writing this has made my head clearer and has actually made me think of a topic.... see? talking about ARASHI and Ohno clears up the braincells.....

I created a monster....

Remember those days when you had to read every article that came about of your favorite boy band...in my case ARASHI? Or the time you hunted for videos on YT and all other places just to get glimpses of your favorites or just something that has ARASHI in it....well, looking at my friend right now made me remember and say to myself "CRAP! WAS I THAT BAD?????"


So heres the story..my room mate knew that i was into ARASHI but never really cared. To her they were just pretty feminine boys...but she was into music -  pop, rock, classical you name it..... So two weeks ago she borrowed my ipod while we were waiting for someone. That ipod contained ARASHI songs and some of the members singles that I really liked... I noticed she kept on rewinding a song... i thought she was on my 'western notes' as I call them. I left it at that.

A few days later for some reason, my friend asked me to DL two songs for her......That's is in itself is surprising since most of them came from her....She said Song For Me and and THAT SONG BY JOURNEY 'OPEN ARMS'.... I literally stared at her for a minute and asked why in the world would she want those songs.....Then she told me on how she googled ARASHI and found out about Ohno singing Open Arms, then found out about his other solo songs and watched them nonstop.....But going back to my question, she said she was charmed by Ohno's voice.....and somehow she said it was different from the usual voices and genres that she listens to..... 

And from there began her obsessive badgering for more information about them and one in particular.....To be honest I have not been following Ohno and ARASHI like when I was a newbie but I occasionally do read about them....and watch some of their shows  especially ANS since they do provide me with a dose of crack every now and then. But to see my friend in this state had a feeling of nostalgia in it......the screaming, the fangirling overly much and the indignation felt when our favorites are slighted.......LOL....

Now all I have to do is tone down her fangirl tendencies when she watches those clips at public libraries and during the middle of the night.....
